I am very happy to announce that Tom Kamijyo will give hands–on classes in February and March 2017 at Chez Klio’s kitchen!
Japanese Chef Tom Kamijyo has 45 years of cooking expertise. He started as a French Chef in Japan and later moved to California where he opened a Café. He later was Head Chef and Sushi Master for the Maui Prince Hotel Hakkone Restaurant. His unique background has led him to create beautiful, new wave Sushi. Tom and I also organize Chez Klio Private Chef Services Special Sushi Events.
Date: Wednesday, February 22 and March 22 only.
Time: 9:30 a.m. – around 3:30 p.m.
Course: California Roll, Ahi Nigiri, Ebi (Shrimp) Nigiri, Spicy Tuna Temaki, Poke Gunkan and Miso Soup
You will learn to prepare the special rice, slice the ahi from a block, prepare the ebi, shape the sushi patties, make miso soup from scratch… all tips necessary for a successful sushi party at home
$120/person includes, tax, welcome Pupu, homegrown coffee, assorted tea and dessert
6 people minimum, 8 people maximum.
